Bio
Hello, I’m Darren Guimont, Founder & CEO of TheBenefactor.net.
I hold a two-year Machine Trades degree and bring more than 30 years of hands-on experience in the machining industry, where precision, discipline, problem-solving, and continuous improvement are essential.
Between 2020 and 2022, I recognized a significant gap in the cryptocurrency industry. While blockchain technology offered tremendous potential, many projects lacked trust, transparency, utility, and long-term value. I saw an opportunity to build a platform where users could share in the value they help create. That realization ultimately led to TheBenefactor.net.
Over the years, I have dedicated myself to learning, building, and navigating the evolving blockchain and Web3 landscape. I watched countless projects make ambitious promises without delivering lasting value. I believed there was an opportunity to build something different, focused on real utility, transparency, and meaningful opportunities for everyday people.
TheBenefactor.net was originally established as a Minnesota LLC operating under the DBA “Paying It Forward” before evolving into TheBenefactor.net, Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation, providing the corporate foundation for our long-term vision and growth.
Today, TheBenefactor.net is building a utility-first SocialFi ecosystem around the participation economy by combining social engagement, practical blockchain utilities, and user incentives. Our mission is to create a platform where people who help create value online have the opportunity to share in that value through meaningful participation.
Everything we build is guided by three core principles:

• Utility: Delivering practical products and real-world use cases that solve meaningful problems.
• Sustainability: Creating a long-term ecosystem designed to benefit both users and the platform as it grows.
